Me As My Own Logo

I recent went to the Open Studios in Gowanus, Brooklyn. It is a weekend when all of the art studios in the area are open to the public. You get to see where and how artists work. One person we visited was artist, Curtis Wallin. He had some pretty funny work which depicted him as the King of a fake country. A goofy demagogue of sorts. I noticed a handgun painted pink on a cut-out piece of wood. I asked if I could be photographed holding it. It was a true case of life imitating art. Here you have proof, 2 squirrels holding fake guns.
