Monkey Business

Back at the Museum of Natural History, I like to overhear conversations while I'm drawing. Even though I'm intently sketching, my ears are open for unusual things happening around me. Most people are from other countries and don't speak English so I don't know what the hell they are saying. Every once in a while I hear some good stuff which helps out the writing in my drawings.

Hi Tommy Kane !
Excuse my bad english. I write you from Paris. I like the sketch. Le letters are very cool. You mix small letters and capital letters and you write them in dark blue. They are precious.
I appreciate your blog I regularly visit. What I like is your sense of humour. And how you make your sketches very understandable. For instance in that one, you choose to draw in blue sky the hind ribs and legs. It’s a simple and good idea ! I often find things to learn in your sketches.
I would be very honored that you expose your drawings come to my studio in Paris as I have proposed a long time ago because I have a sincere admiration for your work.
