Kane Draws Animals

This is my 1000th post. Here is a little video I made of myself drawing in the Museum of Natural History. It's short and sweet. It is also a nice little peek inside the best museum in New York City.

Great work. I always love how you combine images on one page.

One question. In the 1st shot it looks as if you are using a larger sketchbook. Are you?

A nice way to start my day! Thank you. I, too, enjoy your combinations on a page.

CHickens are descended from dinosaurs - have a look at their feet and eyes next time you are up close. It is freaky!

I love the drawings, the detail is what gets me, I am looking forward to your class next week and I have you book, which I haven't unwrapped yet as I want to keep it for between SKS semesters!

Great video & sketches! I really like the layering effect on some of your pages. What kind of pen is the bright blue one that you're using?

Wonderful, would love to know who the music is by too... I love how you use postage stamps in many of your illustrations - adds graphic punch! Always a treat to see a true artist in action!
