The Bad LeBron

I love LeBron James's game. For a big man, he is multi-dimensional. He can play defense, run, rebound, block shots, pass, play-make and of course, score. I hated when he left Cleveland to play with the Heat. Cobbling together a best of team, to win titles. Very Yankee like. One good thing about it, is now I like watching basketball again to root against LeBron. By being the villain, he's made basketball fun to watch. His team is back in the finals and I hope the rickety old San Antonio Spurs can take them in 7. Wishful thinking, I'm afraid.

I lived in Akron while he was in high school, and he was really awful. I've lived in Cleveland for 10 years, and he was awful here too. He's famous in Cleveland for being a horrible tipper at restaurants. He'd amass $800 restaurant bills and leave $3 tips. The news used to try to shame him on it, but he just never cared. And, the fact that he's always still making horrible comments about how he carried the Cavaliers while he was here speaks volumes about his character.

And, contrary to what people thinkn most of us in cleveland don't hate him because he left. We hate him for how he left. There were a thousand reasons that we would have accepted as making sense. If he said he needed to play in a bigger market because you never know how long an NBA career would be and he had to make sure that he took care of his family. But, quite frankly, he was just a self centered ass.

My final two thoughts are that he kept saying that while he was here, he would say that Michael Jordan didn't have an NBa championship when at the same age. Well Michael Jordan went to college for 4 years. So, actually James was always behinf Jordan.

And, one of our favorite jokes was, Why do people not ask LeBron James for change for a dollar?

Because he never has a fourth quarter.
