Mad Old Men

Here is the film Danny made about what advertising was like 25 years ago. It's about how the world has changed around us while we've all been busy watching reality tv. If you are an artist or anyone who has worked in advertising, it may be worth your time to watch. It is a bit long but at least you can watch it in segments. The sound is not great but at least Danny and I did something with our Sunday afternoon.

Thanks so much for this excellent peek behind the curtains at ad the agencies of yesterday and more importantly, watching you and Danny chatting together.
Trés Inspiring!

Nicely done. lol. Seems like every studio manager at that time was lead out in hand cuffs. I saw that happen twice in two different agencies.

Wonderful...thanks for the memories. I was in a small agency in the late 70's to early 80's. I still have my little glue thinner can, t-square...even some dried out markers in the bottom of my taboret. What about specing type..akkk... and little bits of glued paper stuck to clothing...usually noticed when riding the subway home :) So much fun to revisit those days...good times ^. .^ Thanks :)

a compelling watch Tommy! love it. Reminds me of my first job as a print boy at an architects doing blueprints and inhaling all the acetone. your spray booth story reminded me of that - oh, our lungs indeed!

Thanks Tommy - that was so great to listen to - I love thinking about the old days as an architect and I am so glad that I was a part of all that. I still have a drawing board in my work area!!
But also so sad to watch this and seeing Danny so relaxed and to think about the terrible suffering he, Jack and all their friends are going through at the moment! Thinking of you all!
