Dead And Gone

I used to subscribe to a lot of magazines. Now I don't get any. There are a few lying around my office because we place ads in them. This is a drawing I did from a photo in one of them. Just like video killed the radio star, The internet has obliterated the friggin magazine. Too bad, I used to really enjoy them.

magazines are too expensive, and too many of them have to do with celebrities, and therefore are not worth my interest. Special interest magazines say the same thing in every issue, like Parenting. And in my small town art magazines are hard to find unless i buy online, and then you have to ask, why not just look at it online? If i saw a cool issue in a store I would be more likely to buy it for the physical copy, but since they aren't around here I don't see them, i don't buy them.

This drawing is amazing though. I am happy to announce that while video killed the radio star, the internet did not kill the magazine artist. Great job on this, It would be a cool magazine to have the physical copy of.

Sorry for the long comment, unless you like that kind of thing.
