My Spot

My commercial has something to do with a rain forest. That's all I'll divulge at this time. There were tons of wild plants and flowers on the set. At the end I was able to take home some nice flowers and a groovy plant for Yun. The spoils of advertising.

Tommy, those are all bromelias, sort of close relatives to the orchids. Rain forest kind of stuff.

You may enjoy seeing the work of Margaret Mee, and Englishwoman that did these scientific illustrations (basically watercolors)

BTW, thanks for the stickers. I'm getting all sorts of funny looks for the armed squirrel.

You make everything look cool, even pot plants! I never know the names either!

Great spread. You even make house plants look like I would want one...maybe.

just love seeing what you see---I doubt if anyone but an artist would truly KNOW a plant's personna like this spread does

That plant that you don't know the name of, is some kind of Epiphyte. They are sometimes called air plants, because they don't need to put down roots in the soil. They grow on, or attach themselves to other plants.
