Have you ever attended a boring meeting? Afterward everyone is jealous of me because I just tune out and draw. Most people have nothing to do in these meetings so they are forced to listen or at least pretend that they are listening. Not me, I do stuff like this sketch here.

I used to draw my collegues during these boring meetings. They were still jealous but their portrait was a kind of reward!
Sometimes I even look forward to meetings so I can do stuff like this. Wonderful 'boring' sketches :)

And I write micro stories (that is when I am not busy doing actual work since we can usually bring our computers int he room). I get LOADS of boring meetings.

I never pay attention in meetings. Bad habit.
Back in the day I used to fill my pre-calc notebook with drawings and doodles galore...little did I know that the notebook had to be turned in as part of our grade *oof*. Mrs. R. thought I was a pretty terrible math student...but she wrote in the notesbook that she liked my drawings. It was the nicest thing she ever told me over six years of jr. and sr. high...As an adult I am glad that at our meetings we are not asked to turn in our workbooks ;)

I tend to draw the other peopoe in the meeting, but they mostly don't like it!

I use this trick a lot too, it´s the only way to stay awake at meetings. Great drawing, carrots are good for you.
