Free Time

I try to always keep some type of sketch book with me at all times. Instead of doing nothing with my downtime I can whip up a little doodle. Here are three examples: Waiting for a train, sitting in the park, and hanging out at my friend's apartment. All I was doing was killing time, but in the end, I have three nice little drawings to put on my blog.

Great drawings as always, Tommy.
However it serves me right for reading too fast (or for having old eyes.) I could swear the caption on the 2nd one said: "These are some of Francesca's vigilante toys." And then I got to wondering if they moonlighted as border patrol. Or if they just kept an eye on Francesca while she slept and reported her to the authorities if she sucked her thumb. Vigilante toys. Brave new world.
I really gotta get new glasses.

Hope these are not what you call doodles :)! I especially like the train station, I'd love this in my sketchbook! I find drawing in public scary but you've turned down time into quality time, it's really inspiring.

These are so great to look at. I, too, liked the train station but also the park, and how things overlap there. I wish I could see how you work - you really pack a lot in in what I'm guessing isn't that much time. But the sketches look so detailed.
